When we think of Florida generally it is images of white sand beaches and theme parks popping up. Miami

Miami is a popular destination for East Coast residents as it is only a few hours away and is in a tropical area. It’s an easily accessible and affordable place to get away from winter for a weekend.
The beaches of South Beach, as well as the nightlife, attract the Jet Setters and those who like to navigate in their wake. For those who are not interested in strings, Botox, steroids, and implants, the city offers cultural venues, such as the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and the Metro-Dade Cultural Center. Orlando
Orlando is one of the most popular destinations in North America it receives, no less than 3.6 million visitors each year. In addition to the climate that is always fantastic except when a hurricane passes in the area, the centralized position makes it a good starting point for someone who wants to visit such places as Cape Canaveral on the Atlantic coast and Tampa located on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. The city is known as the theme park capital of the world, but you can go there and find lots of things other than its two famous parks.
In the center of town, you will find Lake Eola Park and its no less famous fountain. The city is less than 96Km from Cocoa Beach, a short walk from the Kennedy Space Center and less than 136Km from Tampa on the other side.
Kennedy Space Center
If you decide to visit Florida, you must take a day to visit the Kennedy Space Center, located in Cape Canaveral. It is 90Km (55mi) east of Orlando, 528 and 71mi south of Daytona Beach, by I 95. NASA HQ is the only place in the world that allows you to guided tour of the launching facilities, meeting senior astronauts, seeing giant rockets, training aboard simulation modules and maybe even, you could attend a launch.
The rocket garden is an interesting arrangement, of eight rockets from the beginning of the space program, distributed in a garden, it is the jewel of the visitor complex. You wander among the rockets that belonged to the program Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. Learn for yourself what astronauts were living by first taking replicas of Mercury and Gemini capsules. Let the IMAX experience transport you to space and weightlessness. The two IMAX cinemas present respectively; Space Station 3D with Tom Cruze in the narrative and Hubble 3D with Leonardo De Caprio also in the narration. A visit to the Kennedy Space Center is a truly out of the ordinary experience.
Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale, with all its marinas, is a first-choice destination for those who go there with their yacht. It is also the favorite destination of tourists in America, especially snowbirds love to settle there to escape the harshness of winter. Why visit Fort Lauderdale? Well, the place offers outrageous museums, beaches, and nightlife, the Fort Lauderdale Swamp Shop, a very flea market and the site of the largest cinema Drive-In in the world with 13 screens.
Also, in Fort Lauderdale is the International Swimming Hall of Fame, the water sports hall of fame. Among those who have been inducted, note; Olympic medalist Bill Smith, long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad, diver Sylvie Bernier and even actress/swimmer Esther Williams who made swimming synchronized popular.
